Daniel B. Brown is the former Executive Vice President and General Manager of Busch Entertainment Corporation’s (BEC) three flagship parks based in Orlando — SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and SeaWorld’s new water park, Aquatica. Dan leads the long-range planning, daily operations and conservation initiatives of the world’s most popular marine life park and its two sister properties, which together employ more than 6,000 team members. An industry veteran with 34 years theme park experience, Dan is recognized within the business and tourism industry for his strategic vision and dedication to the guest experience. He has held many leadership roles within BEC including Executive Vice President and General Manager positions both at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. He also has served as a leader in the BEC corporate offices, as Corporate Vice-President of Park Operations, and as Executive Assistant to the company’s President and Chairman of the Board. Dan began his career in the theme park industry in operations in 1974.
