Dr. Judy St. Leger is Vice President for Research and Science for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, joining the company in 1999. Dr. St. Leger works with federal agencies and biologists to investigate causes for wildlife mortality and potential environmental concerns impacting wildlife. She is also responsible for looking after the research efforts related to the animal collections and education programs for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.
Dr. St. Leger’s research and conservation efforts have taken her across the globe. She has investigated the natural history of toucans in Peru, the diving physiology of penguins in Antarctica, baleen whale mortalities in Australia and Mexico, and assisted in rehabilitation efforts of pangolins in Vietnam.
Dr. St. Leger has degrees from Cobleskill College and Cornell University.
