Karen has devoted a great deal of her career to Hubbs providing research assistance for such diverse projects as Commerson’s dolphin distribution studies, killer whale photo-identification, sea otter oil spill recovery, sea turtle recovery plans, and computer systems management. Since 1996 Karen has supported the data needs of the aquaculture staff at the Carlsbad hatchery through database management and development, as well as statistical and graphical data analysis. In addition, she provides computer systems support and management for the hatchery.
